About the role
Responsibilities
- Repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and components
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems in automated equipment
- Adjust and replace electrical sensors for assembly machines
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment cleaning
- Execute machine changeovers and tooling replacements
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, and schematics
- Use metal working equipment including calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
- Manage facility startup/shutdown and emergency generator changeovers
Requirements
- Associate’s degree with 2 years of PLC repair experience OR High School Diploma with 6 years of PLC repair experience
- 3-5 years of manufacturing industry experience
- Knowledge of pneumatics, ladder logic, and basic electrical systems
- Proficiency with PLC equipment
- Forklift and scissor lift certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Welding experience
- Machinery repair experience
