Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities, systems, and machinery including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and security to identify potential repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance for the hotel, administrative offices, pool, and casino buildings.
• Execute repairs and installations involving carpentry, painting, locksmithing, welding, and plumbing.
• Respond to guest room requests and emergency situations such as facility damage or leaks in a timely, professional manner.
• Maintain a preventive maintenance program and document all work and building conditions.
• Manage procurement of equipment and supplies following company purchasing procedures.
• Assist with grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and planting as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-4 years of experience in building trades, construction, or general maintenance.
• Valid Michigan Driver’s License and ability to be insurable through the company carrier.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and schematics.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift 80+ pounds.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) and basic math skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to obtain a gaming license in accordance with LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission regulations.
