Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to implement effective solutions
• Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components to ensure continuous production
• Perform preventative maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and CNC saws
• Follow diagrams, sketches, and engineering specifications to complete maintenance tasks
• Assist in the installation and upgrading of new machinery and equipment
• Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to work teams

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a production floor environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment controlled by PLCs and interpret ladder logic programs
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Ability to troubleshoot problems using prints and technical manuals
• Experience with mechanical plant maintenance and machinery installation
