Nimble is a robotics and AI company building end-to-end autonomous logistics to enable fast, efficient, and sustainable commerce. Founded from the AI labs at Stanford and Carnegie Mellon, Nimble is developing general-purpose logistics robots capable of performing all core warehouse functions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment, material handling equipment, and automated equipment
  • Effect repairs on machines, tools, building infrastructure, and grounds equipment
  • Inspect, evaluate, and repair a variety of mechanical equipment
  • Use assigned software to enter work orders and track daily tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time taken
  • Read and interpret specifications, diagrams, manuals, and standard operating procedures
  • Confer with staff to determine equipment problems and suggest minimization methods
  • Help maintain inventory levels of supplies, tools, and replacement parts
  • Follow appropriate safety procedures and applicable codes

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of experience in maintenance and repair in an industrial setting
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Proficiency with computer systems including Google Suite, Slack, Microsoft Visual Studio, command prompts, and Click Up
  • Ability to work on-call, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50+ pounds and work in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
  • Strong mathematical skills including geometry, trigonometry, fractions, and ratios
  • Ability to recognize, mitigate, and correct unsafe conditions
