Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on mechanical, material handling, and automated equipment
• Repair machines, tools, building infrastructure, and grounds equipment
• Inspect, evaluate, and repair a variety of mechanical equipment
• Use software to enter work orders and track daily tasks
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time taken
• Read and interpret specifications, diagrams, manuals, and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with staff to determine equipment problems and suggest solutions
• Help maintain inventory levels of supplies, tools, and replacement parts
• Follow safety procedures and applicable codes and guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three years of experience in maintenance and repair in an industrial setting
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Proficiency with computer systems including Google Suite, Slack, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Click Up
• Ability to work on-call, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills in non-standardized situations
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as geometry, trigonometry, fractions, and ratios
• Ability to recognize, mitigate, and correct unsafe conditions
