Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform daily checks, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for all plant production and facilities equipment
• Maintain the plant equipment PM program and enter all machine information into the CMMS work order system
• Troubleshoot high-speed assembly, printing, packaging, and auxiliary equipment
• Diagnose complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical problems using schematics and testing equipment
• Assist maintenance leadership in executing PMs, CMs, and TPMs efficiently and on schedule
• Respond to trouble calls and act as a first responder in facility emergencies

Requirements

• 2-year technical degree or 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and understand mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics, prints, and service manuals
• Troubleshooting expertise in high-speed assembly and packaging equipment
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for 12 consecutive hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with injection molding and extrusion equipment
• Experience troubleshooting/repairing PLC, I/O logic, and AC/DC drives
• Experience with auxiliary equipment such as conveyors, wrappers, heat tunnels, and chillers
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
