Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on assigned equipment and instrumentation
• Troubleshoot and repair six-axis robotics, pick and place robotics, and material conveying systems
• Execute electrical troubleshooting, including PLCs using discrete and analog inputs/outputs
• Repair modern injection molding machines, addressing hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and computer-based issues
• Diagnose and repair electrical and pneumatic control system problems on production machinery and auxiliary equipment
• Locate mechanical problems using precision measuring and testing instruments
• Assist with the setup and teardown of packaging lines
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies while supporting TPM and Lean processes

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in mechanical troubleshooting
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints
• Strong mechanical skills with the ability to interpret mechanical drawings
• Knowledge of how PLCs work and general computer component configuration
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform duties in confined spaces
• Must own a roll-around toolbox with a mechanic-type tool assortment
• Ability to operate man lifts up to a height of 30 feet
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with injection molding machines
• Direct experience working with PLCs
