Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on assigned equipment and instrumentation
• Troubleshoot and repair six-axis robotics, pick and place robotics, and material conveying systems
• Execute electrical troubleshooting, including PLC systems using discrete and analog inputs/outputs
• Repair modern injection molding machines, addressing hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and computer-based issues
• Diagnose and repair electrical and pneumatic control system problems on production machinery and auxiliary equipment
• Use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to determine dimensional requirements of parts
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and production personnel to ensure efficient operations
• Support TPM and Lean processes while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental policies

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in mechanical troubleshooting
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints
• Knowledge of PLC operation and computer component configuration
• Strong mechanical skills with the ability to interpret mechanical drawings
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces (as small as 2 ft x 2 ft)
• Must own a roll-around toolbox with a mechanic-type tool assortment
• Ability to operate man lifts up to a height of 30 feet

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with injection molding machines
• Direct experience with PLC troubleshooting
