Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and maintain safety/cleanliness standards
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks
• Maintain and repair appliances, electrical, plumbing, and other systems
• Perform general carpentry tasks including cabinets, flooring, and door/lock repair
• Ensure upkeep of exterior grounds including landscaping, snow removal, and parking lot maintenance
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests when on call
• Use Work Order Management system to track and complete maintenance tasks
• Interact with residents, vendors, and on-site staff in a professional manner

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in multi-family properties
• Experience using Yardi software
• Proficient in using maintenance tools and equipment
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
