Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on conveyors, automation, robotics, and ancillary equipment.
• Troubleshoot out-of-service equipment and act as an escalation point for lower-level technicians.
• Document all work in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and maintain accurate operating logs.
• Perform root cause analysis of major downtime events to prevent recurrence.
• Execute facility project work including light repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC system testing.
• Assemble and test equipment to verify correct operation and analyze causes of production delays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience with conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment repair and maintenance.
• Fundamental understanding of machinery and equipment.
• Experience working with inputs, outputs, and PLC logic systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer software packages.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours).
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour AM shift (2-2-3 format).
• Must furnish own necessary hand tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering Technology, or HVAC.
• Graduate of an apprenticeship program or holder of a current trade certification.
• 3+ years of experience in building maintenance for facilities larger than 75,000 square feet.
