Maintenance Technician Mechanics/Electronics

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor maintenance and inspections using the Mister Maint system.
• Perform independent maintenance, repairs, and assembly of machines, equipment, and plant components.
• Document all maintenance, inspection, and repair activities reliably in the maintenance system.
• Manage material and spare part stocks, including initiating purchase requests and evaluating old parts for reuse.
• Monitor the fire alarm center and resolve related malfunctions.
• Supervise external service providers and suppliers during maintenance activities.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to handle emergency repairs and act as a contact for security and fire services.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an electrician, electronics technician, mechatronics technician, or a comparable qualification (e.g., locksmith with basic electrical certification).
• 2-3 years of industrial experience, ideally including experience with on-call services.
• Proficiency in MIG/MAG welding or a willingness to expand these skills.
• Knowledge of hazardous material operations and ATEX zones.
• Practical experience with fire alarm and extinguishing technology is a plus.
• German language proficiency at a C1 level.
• Ability to live within a reasonable distance of the Dormagen site for on-call duties.
