Maintenance Technician Mechanics/Electrical

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor maintenance and inspections using the Mister Maint system
• Perform preventive and condition-based maintenance tasks independently
• Document all maintenance, inspection, and repair activities reliably
• Repair and assemble machines, equipment, and plant components
• Monitor spare parts inventory and initiate procurement requests
• Inspect incoming materials and evaluate old parts for reusability
• Monitor the fire alarm center and resolve malfunctions
• Supervise external service providers and suppliers during maintenance work
• Participate in on-call duty for emergency repairs and act as a contact for security and fire services

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an electrician, electronics technician, mechatronics technician, or comparable qualification (e.g., locksmith with small electrical permit)
• 2-3 years of industrial experience preferred
• Experience with on-call services preferred
• Proficiency in MIG/MAG welding or willingness to learn
• Knowledge of hazardous material operations and ATEX zones
• Practical experience with fire alarm and extinguishing technology
• Very good German language skills (minimum C1 level)
• Ability to live within a reachable radius of the Dormagen site for on-call duties
