Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on robots and automated welding machines in a timely manner
• Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel regarding automated and facilities equipment
• Assist in developing PM strategies and identifying areas of improvement for equipment
• Assist in developing and maintaining critical spares necessary for daily maintenance requirements
• Manage maintenance activities on assigned shifts, including assigning duties based on production requirements
• Monitor and track daily performance of maintenance personnel and escalate issues to management
• Participate in daily shift meetings and pre-design reviews for new machinery
• Provide support for all departments during new program launches
• Direct contractors and employees to implement projects and maintenance tasks

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or an Associate degree in robotics technology or equivalent
• 1-5 years of practical field experience if no diploma is held
• Strong understanding of robotics, control systems, and machine operation with hands-on experience
• Proficiency in programming, mechanical, and electrical problem-solving
• Strong knowledge of Spot Welding (Medar weld controllers) and Mig Welding (GMAW & FCAW)
• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills
