Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and manufacturing support systems
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and reliability
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Support mold changeovers and equipment setup activities
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, manuals, and technical drawings
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failures
• Complete maintenance work orders and documentation accurately within the management system
• Partner with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve equipment issues

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting injection molding equipment
• Technical training, apprenticeship, or vocational education in maintenance-related disciplines
• Knowledge of mold cooling systems, resin handling systems, and dryers
• PLC troubleshooting experience
