Maintenance Technician (Machinist)

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on automated production machinery to reduce downtime and meet production schedules
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment availability
• Conduct equipment relocations, mechanical adjustments, and alignments
• Identify and order necessary spare parts and document all completed work
• Work with suppliers to resolve technical issues and participate in facility upgrades
• Maintain a safe working environment by following all plant safety programs

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Production Technician or Auxiliary
• Proficiency with basic hand tools
• Ability to read and understand electrical and pneumatic diagrams
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and climb ladders

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical Associate's degree (2-year program)
• 3+ years of applicable maintenance or machining experience
• Knowledge of hydraulics
• Experience with machining techniques such as manual milling, turning, grinding, or welding
• Experience with CNC machine setup, programming, and operation
