Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs in restroom facilities, including toilets and soap dispensers
• Conduct general labor tasks such as carrying, stacking, and sorting materials
• Maintain or replace door hardware, furniture, and flooring
• Conduct basic painting and cleaning in mechanical spaces
• Replace lamps, air filters, ceiling tiles, and fire extinguishers
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE in compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFC, and NFPA regulations
• Communicate professionally with teammates, vendors, tenants, and leadership

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, or plumbing
• Basic knowledge of work order and facility operation software
• Familiarity with fire/life safety equipment and procedures
• Ability to read blueprints and understand code requirements
• Competent knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to work after hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds
