About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on production assets per PM schedules
- Document all maintenance activities in the electronic facility log
- Maintain tooling, equipment, and logs to ensure production readiness
- Perform daily maintenance rounds, recording and correcting potential issues
- Drive improvements to quality, process, and productivity
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, GMPs, and SOPs
- Employ 5S and lean manufacturing techniques
- Design and test jigs and manufacturing aids to support productivity
- Troubleshoot production equipment issues and support the production team
- Perform risk assessments, workflow simulations, and process change validation
Requirements
- Basic computer knowledge using Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Acute attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Understanding of documentation and data traceability
- Familiarity with executing SOPs in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Analytical thinking with ability to perform root cause analysis and design of experiments
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- On-call availability
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and hand manipulation
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or related field
- Certificate of training in mechanical or electronics
- Experience in a professional-level manufacturing environment
- Experience working in a startup environment
- Experience with additive manufacturing
