Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on production assets per PM schedules
• Document all maintenance activities in the electronic facility log
• Maintain tooling, equipment, and logs to ensure production readiness
• Perform daily maintenance rounds, recording and correcting potential issues
• Drive improvements to quality, process, and productivity
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, GMPs, and SOPs
• Employ 5S and lean manufacturing techniques
• Design and test jigs and manufacturing aids to support productivity
• Troubleshoot production equipment issues and support the production team
• Perform risk assessments, workflow simulations, and process change validation

Requirements

• Basic computer knowledge using Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Acute attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Understanding of documentation and data traceability
• Familiarity with executing SOPs in a manufacturing or assembly environment
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Analytical thinking with ability to perform root cause analysis and design of experiments
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• On-call availability
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and hand manipulation

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or related field
• Certificate of training in mechanical or electronics
• Experience in a professional-level manufacturing environment
• Experience working in a startup environment
• Experience with additive manufacturing
