Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical manufacturing equipment
• Analyze and resolve complex electrical problems, including wiring moderately complex control circuits
• Identify root causes of mechanical and control failures to minimize downtime
• Perform size changeovers and troubleshoot liquid fillers and packaging equipment
• Program minor changes in Allen Bradley PLCs (SLC500, MicroLogix, CompactLogix, and ControlLogix)
• Fabricate, repair, and install piping (hot/cold water, steam, process, and condensate)
• Teach basic mechanical skills to line operators to support autonomous maintenance and TPM functions
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment following Good Manufacturing and Food Safety practices

Requirements

• 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• 3 years of experience troubleshooting 3-phase (480V) circuits, motor starters, controls, and electronic circuit boards
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to walk throughout the facility for extended periods
