Maintenance Technician IV/Lead Extrusion

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments
• Repair and maintain mechanical machine components and pneumatic systems
• Troubleshoot electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, and PLC inputs/outputs
• Complete projects to add electrical circuits, controls, and relocate machines
• Monitor spare parts usage and enter work in computer-based maintenance programs
• Train technicians in complex tasks and manage direct reports activities
• Adjust equipment based on Statistical Process Control data

Requirements

• Associates degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 7-10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and computer graphics
• Intermediate knowledge of fabrication such as welding or basic machining
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Availability for regular standby assignments and emergency overtime
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
