About the role
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment
- Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments
- Repair and maintain mechanical machine components
- Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, and photo eyes
- Troubleshoot PLC inputs and outputs
- Maintain and repair pneumatic systems including cylinders
- Perform mechanical Preventative Maintenance tasks
- Train technicians in complex tasks and manage direct reports
- Monitor and report spare parts usage
Requirements
- Associates degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 7-10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and CMMS systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and computer graphics
- Intermediate knowledge of fabrication such as welding or basic machining
- Availability for regular standby assignments and emergency overtime
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual skills (English & Spanish)
