About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled equipment preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and manage open work orders within the CMMS.
- Maintain cGMP-compliant documentation in adherence to the Quality Management System.
- Lead by example to other Maintenance Associates, fostering teamwork and knowledge sharing.
- Manage spare parts inventory and collaborate with Engineering to mitigate equipment obsolescence.
- Assist in Capital Improvement Projects by coordinating contractors and supporting business activities.
- Participate in "On Call" duties for late and off-shift equipment emergencies.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 6+ years of experience in equipment maintenance (or an Associate degree with 5+ years of experience).
- 4+ years of experience working in a GMP environment.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety.
- Proficiency with general shop tools and methodologies.
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical 2-year or 4-year degree.
- Understanding of pneumatics, boilers, validated systems, and standby electrical generation systems.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, high-speed conveyance, and automated lines.
- Experience with RODI water generation systems and aseptic processing.
