About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled equipment preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and manage open work orders within the CMMS.
  • Maintain cGMP-compliant documentation in adherence to the Quality Management System.
  • Lead by example to other Maintenance Associates, fostering teamwork and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and collaborate with Engineering to mitigate equipment obsolescence.
  • Assist in Capital Improvement Projects by coordinating contractors and supporting business activities.
  • Participate in "On Call" duties for late and off-shift equipment emergencies.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6+ years of experience in equipment maintenance (or an Associate degree with 5+ years of experience).
  • 4+ years of experience working in a GMP environment.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety.
  • Proficiency with general shop tools and methodologies.
  • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical 2-year or 4-year degree.
  • Understanding of pneumatics, boilers, validated systems, and standby electrical generation systems.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, high-speed conveyance, and automated lines.
  • Experience with RODI water generation systems and aseptic processing.
