Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of manufacturing plant equipment
• Diagnose and correct malfunctions related to components and industrial systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Execute corrective and preventative maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical systems
• Rebuild equipment including pumps, air motors, welders, and gear drives
• Calibrate equipment such as fluid, air, and fan systems
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety guidelines and utilizing proper equipment
• Work with team leaders to perform scheduled maintenance and resolve open issues

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduation from the FAME Advanced Manufacturing Technician (AMT) program OR 3-7 years of relevant maintenance experience
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Ability to work a second shift (Monday - Thursday, 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM)
• Flexibility to work a rotating weekly on-call schedule and mandatory overtime
• Physical ability to stand, bend, climb, and lift up to 45 pounds for up to 10 hours per day

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of various voltage systems (480V, 277V, 240V, 208V, 120/24V)
• Experience with industrial safety requirements for hazardous or flammable environments
• Knowledge of INFOR and MTTR systems
• Ability to self-manage work priorities and work with a sense of urgency
