About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of manufacturing plant equipment
- Diagnose and correct malfunctions related to components and industrial systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Execute corrective and preventative maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical systems
- Rebuild equipment including pumps, air motors, welders, and gear drives
- Calibrate equipment such as fluid, air, and fan systems
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety guidelines and utilizing proper equipment
- Work with team leaders to perform scheduled maintenance and resolve open issues
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduation from the FAME Advanced Manufacturing Technician (AMT) program OR 3-7 years of relevant maintenance experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to work a second shift (Monday - Thursday, 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM)
- Flexibility to work a rotating weekly on-call schedule and mandatory overtime
- Physical ability to stand, bend, climb, and lift up to 45 pounds for up to 10 hours per day
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of various voltage systems (480V, 277V, 240V, 208V, 120/24V)
- Experience with industrial safety requirements for hazardous or flammable environments
- Knowledge of INFOR and MTTR systems
- Ability to self-manage work priorities and work with a sense of urgency
