Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment setup, operation, repair, and weekly preventative maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and identify solutions for mechanical errors, safety issues, or operating inefficiencies.
• Maintain a cGMP compliant environment and operate within FDA guidelines.
• Utilize human machine interfaces (HMIs) to identify and correct shifts in process control.
• Document all maintenance activities thoroughly using the maintenance database.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality, process, or safety defects.
• Assist operators with day-to-day support, including adjustments, setups, and changeovers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience working with hand tools on manufacturing equipment, HVAC, or automotive systems.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work a 12-hour night shift onsite.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 35lbs, and work in tight spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience maintaining or debugging highly automated equipment.
• Familiarity with Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
• Knowledge of automated sensors (pressure switches, flow sensors, photoelectric sensors, etc.).
• Experience working in a clean room environment.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as laser welding, ultrasonic welding, or robotic automation.
