Maintenance Technician III

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance on plant machinery including welders, pumps, motors, and compressors
• Troubleshoot and repair failures in production and facilities equipment
• Repair or replace control devices such as switches, sensors, valves, and motor starters
• Execute work order repairs, inspections, and adjustments while documenting repair reports
• Fabricate and modify new and existing equipment
• Read and follow detailed operator instructions, installation drawings, and blueprints
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and support 5S initiatives
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
• Obtain and maintain a valid fork truck/stand-up license

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years of experience in manufacturing and facilities maintenance
• 1 year of experience with HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, or basic electrical repair (120v & 480v)
• Experience using drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking machinery
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read/comprehend technical documents
• Valid driver's license
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift 40 pounds waist high and work overtime on short notice

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Technical Degree in Manufacturing or Facilities
• Technical trade certifications
• Knowledge of basic assembly processes
