About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on processes, facilities, and equipment within a cleanroom environment.
  • Maintain critical systems including steam (pure and industrial), water (purified and WFI), lyophilizers, process reactors, and final filling lines.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems, including pumps, valves, and autoclaves.
  • Support automation and control systems, including PLC/HMI interfaces (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment readiness for audits and prevent adverse manufacturing events.
  • Coordinate with multifunctional teams and external contractors for repairs and commissioning of GMP equipment.
  • Respond to critical system alarms and participate in 24/7 emergency response or on-call rotations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the quality system and maintenance management software.

Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in maintenance or engineering.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and electrical/mechanical schematics.
  • Strong knowledge of automation and control systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to work rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, night) with weekly changes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience working in a GMP or cleanroom environment.
  • Experience with high vacuum, refrigeration, and CIP cleaning systems.
