Maintenance Technician III

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance of production equipment and controls
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and troubleshooting with production departments
• Prepare and manage periodic preventative maintenance schedules
• Record and manage documentation for maintenance and troubleshooting work
• Analyze equipment log data in MES system for problem solving
• Coordinate with outside vendors for complex maintenance issues
• Train and guide new or other technicians
• Maintain worksite cleanliness in accordance with 5S3R Standards
• Ensure all work is completed in a safe manner

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of maintenance experience in a production or plant environment
• High School Diploma, GED, or higher degree
• Technical mechanical and electrical knowledge and experience
• Ability to work in dry-room environments with gowning and PPE requirements
• Ability to wear PPE (safety glasses, steel-toed shoes) for up to 12 hours
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds, stoop, twist, bend, and reach overhead

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or relevant work experience
• Vocational certification (e.g., journeyperson)
• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) experience
