About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality customer service by responding to maintenance requests in a timely, professional manner
  • Complete all phases of make-ready/turnover work and troubleshooting according to timelines
  • Perform work safely and efficiently in accordance with company safety standards
  • Use and maintain tools and equipment following safety guidelines
  • Train Entry and General level Maintenance Techs in hands-on settings
  • Complete work orders, timesheets, and preventative maintenance documentation
  • Maintain community appearance through playground cleanup, trash pick-up, and related duties
  • Participate in resident events and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in multi-family housing, construction, or trades
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • EPA Type I and II certification (Type III/Universal required if chillers present)
  • Certification or comparable experience in four or more trades including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, masonry, or building construction
  • Subject matter expert knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Working knowledge of residential maintenance operations and work order scheduling
  • Advanced knowledge of trade-specific tools and equipment
  • Basic computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement
  • Availability for mandatory after-hours emergency repairs, on-call rotations, and weekend work
