Maintenance Technician III

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment
• Perform detailed equipment setup including recipe changes and control adjustments
• Repair and maintain mechanical machine components and pneumatic systems
• Troubleshoot electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, and PLC inputs/outputs
• Complete projects to add electrical circuits, controls, and relocate machines
• Perform mechanical Preventative Maintenance tasks
• Monitor and report spare parts usage and complete order forms
• Train Level I and II technicians in complex tasks and skills
• Adjust equipment based on Statistical Process Control data

Requirements

• Associates degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 3-7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and computer graphics
• Intermediate knowledge of fabrication such as welding or basic machining
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work regular standby assignments and emergency overtime
• Physical ability to lift up to 90 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment
