Maintenance Technician III

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on complex industrial equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures
• Lead small maintenance projects or guide junior technicians
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in industrial, commercial, or facility environments
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Ability to bend, stoop, stand, and squat

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification or relevant trade license (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
• Completion of technical school or apprenticeship
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Understanding of PLC basics and motor controls
• Forklift, scissor lift, or aerial work platform certification
• Lockout/Tagout training
