Maintenance Technician III

Responsibilities

• Perform senior-level technical support and maintenance to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards.
• Train lower-level technicians on advanced tasks and maintenance job plans.
• Conduct routine testing of conductor insulation, transformer coils, circuit breakers, and related switchgear.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and motor control centers.
• Manage and maintain Soft Starts and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Assist in root cause investigations and reliability-centered maintenance analysis.
• Support continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization.
• Adhere to all safety, GMP, and AbbVie electrical standards.
• Work a rotating 12-hour shift (4 days on, 4 days off) on the day shift.

Requirements

• High School diploma with 10+ years of experience, OR a Relevant Certificate with 5+ years of experience, OR an Associate's technical degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in multiple skilled maintenance trade disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and GMP regulations.
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Windows.
• Ability to use advanced diagnostic, predictive, and machine tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation.
