Maintenance Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on conveyors, sortation equipment, and automated storage systems
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair automated conveyor and sortation systems
• Utilize CMMS to manage work orders and track spare parts inventory
• Perform basic controls programming and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and motor control diagrams
• Assist with installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment
• Mentor junior maintenance team members
• Follow OSHA regulations and Lockout/Tagout procedures

Requirements

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in distribution or warehouse environments
• Minimum of 3 years troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480V
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial controls
• Experience using CMMS software
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) and work at heights
• Ability to stand/walk for 10–12 hour shifts and lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automated conveyor systems
• Technical certification or an associate degree in a related field
