Maintenance Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and scheduled preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment, machinery, and tools.
• Troubleshoot and correct mechanical and electrical problems on equipment including CNC machines, paint booths, and saws.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and machine operation manuals to perform repairs.
• Maintain and repair building and ground assets, including vehicles and fabrication tools.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, including proper handling of hazardous waste.
• Set work priorities to meet production and maintenance departmental goals with minimal supervision.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and tool records, including safety checklists.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Forklift and Scissor lift licenses.
• Proficiency with common hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Knowledge of air and hydraulic systems.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently and work in environments with high heat (up to 105 degrees).
• Ability to climb ladders, work on scaffolding, and perform tasks in noisy or dusty conditions.
