Maintenance Technician II

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair electro-mechanical equipment in both processing and high-speed packaging environments
• Troubleshoot and repair automated robotics systems, conveyors, and processing equipment such as roasters, mills, and fillers
• Maintain and repair electrical control and instrumentation, including PLC and HMI hardware
• Perform line changeovers, equipment set-ups, and calibrations for instrumentation like metal detectors and checkweighers
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to execute equipment rebuilds or installations
• Partner with machine operators to identify and resolve equipment troubleshooting needs
• Ensure all work adheres to strict health, safety, and food safety standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-5 years of experience in an electrical or mechanical maintenance role
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and 5S methodologies
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various manufacturing environments (hot, humid, or cold)
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and perform physical tasks such as crouching or kneeling for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Skilled Trades Technical Education
• Advanced technical training in Automation and electrical systems technology
• Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing maintenance position
