Maintenance Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic troubleshooting on electrical, HVAC, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and mechanical equipment
• Execute necessary repairs on machine tools, ancillary equipment, and conveyors
• Tear down and overhaul equipment components including pumps, valves, regulators, and motors
• Rewire or run new power lines and perform welding tasks
• Fabricate parts using a mill or lathe
• Manage projects by listing objectives, creating parts lists, and guiding team members
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation in compliance with housekeeping standards
• Train other employees on specific skill sets and track on-the-job training

Requirements

• Associate degree from a two-year college/technical school or 4-6 years of related experience
• Proven experience with Stamping Press and/or Spindle Lathe equipment
• Proficiency with RS Logic Programming and strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Auto-CAD training
• EPA, Electrical, Welding, or HVAC certifications
• Ability to obtain a forklift license
