Maintenance Technician II

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment including conveyors, formers, case erectors, wrappers, x-ray units, and metal detectors
• Perform electrical maintenance on single and 3-phase circuits, including 480V systems
• Diagnose problems, replace defective parts, and make final adjustments for high-speed production equipment
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks using a CMMS program
• Use lathes, mills, bandsaws, and drill presses to repair or fabricate parts
• Maintain clean and efficient parts inventory and notify of stock depletion
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other appropriate industrial equipment
• Follow LOTO, GMP, and food safety practices to ensure compliance with USDA, OSHA, and FDA standards

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an Industrial Production Mechanic
• Experience with single and 3-phase electrical circuits (480V)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift and move up to 50-75 pounds
• Willingness to work 3rd shift (Monday-Friday, 8:00pm-6:30am) and overtime as needed

• Experience in food production environments
