Maintenance Technician II

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot causes of mechanical and electrical errors
• Analyze equipment log data in MES system for problem solving
• Repair and maintain operating condition machinery or equipment
• Maintain standard processes and procedures for consistency across shifts
• Provide hands-on training for new employees in equipment functions and repairs
• Record performed repairs and maintenance histories
• Collaborate with engineers and leaders to create efficient processes
• Draft blueprints and read schematic, mechanical, and electrical diagrams
• Observe and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions
• Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards
• Ensure all work is completed in a safe manner

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of maintenance experience in a production or plant environment
• High School Diploma, GED, or higher degree
• Technical mechanical and electrical knowledge and experience
• Ability to work in dry-room environments with gowning and PPE requirements
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks like stooping, twisting, and bending for up to 12 hours
• Ability to wear safety glasses and steel-toed shoes for up to 12 hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or relevant work experience
• Vocational certification (e.g., journeyperson)
• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) experience
