Maintenance Technician II

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive and predictive maintenance
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and other maintenance-related problems
• Maintain and repair distribution center racking, walkies, power trucks, and dock doors
• Manage tasks and work orders using CMMS and Google Sheets
• Train new hires on machine operation and oversee Maintenance Associates
• Conduct machine calibration and regular facility safety inspections
• Coordinate with external contractors for equipment troubleshooting and spare parts procurement
• Maintain department inventory including spare parts, tools, and hardware

Requirements

• Post-secondary Education in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of Facilities Maintenance experience
• At least 1 year of experience in food processing, manufacturing, or service environments
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, bend, twist, and walk
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs
• Proficiency with basic hand, power, and measuring tools
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (0°C to 4°C)
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
• Strong English communication skills
