Maintenance Technician II

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant equipment and infrastructure through electrical, mechanical, and PLC-based troubleshooting
• Perform planned and preventative maintenance tasks on-time, including part replacements and welding
• Execute urgent breakdown repairs and carry out safe, effective equipment repairs
• Monitor equipment effectiveness to maximize availability and contribute to root cause analysis
• Comply with SH&E standards and promote safe, responsible behavior through monthly safety observations
• Implement continuous improvement activities via TPM, 5S practices, and problem-solving initiatives
• Propose updates to existing preventative maintenance tasks and implement improvements to work practices

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 3 years of experience working in an industrial maintenance environment
• 1 year of experience with electronic and PLC-based applications in an industrial environment
• 1 year of experience with electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of mechanical experience in a chemical plant
• 4 years of total industrial experience
• Experience with pumps, welding, bearings, hydraulics, valves, and rigging
• Experience working in a TPM or Lean Manufacturing environment
• Formal vocational training in an industrial engineering discipline
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
