Maintenance Technician II

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform preventative maintenance or as-needed repairs on homes or grounds
• Perform trades including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, masonry, or building construction
• Provide high quality customer service by responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Complete all phases of make ready/turnover work according to timelines
• Maintain community appearance through playground cleanup and trash pick-up
• Complete documentation such as work orders and timesheets

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in multi-family or housing maintenance, construction, or trades
• Proven competency in 2-3 trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, masonry)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver's license and use of personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement
• Ability to work irregular hours, including weekends and mandatory after-hours emergency rotations
• Ability to provide and maintain own basic hand and power tools
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and residential maintenance operations
