Maintenance Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-skilled construction, maintenance, modification, and repair activities to ensure safe and effective university infrastructure.
• Execute maintenance operations in assigned areas to maintain optimal working conditions.
• Operate hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner.
• Perform physical and manual tasks in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in the Maintenance Technician Series.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems.
• Working knowledge of plumbing and other basic maintenance trades.
• Ability to operate various hand and power tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree in a related field.
