Maintenance Technician I

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and facilities
• Assist operators with minor maintenance issues to minimize downtime
• Conduct electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and audits
• Maintain records of repairs, calibrations, tests, and standard setting processes
• Assist with facilities maintenance and local engineering upgrades

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong mechanical reasoning skills
• Experience using Windows-based PC applications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under time constraints
• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 40 lbs, standing, and climbing ladders

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of mechanical and/or electronic courses
• Proficiency in printing, bindery, or packaging machine maintenance
