Maintenance Technician I

Responsibilities

• Ensure production equipment and automation meet safety and food safety regulatory standards
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on building and production equipment including conveyors and automation
• Maintain and repair distribution center racking, walkies, power trucks, and dock doors
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems
• Manage work orders using CMMS and Google Sheets
• Conduct regular facility inspections for fire safety and emergency lighting
• Support installation and overhaul projects

Requirements

• Post-secondary diploma in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for prolonged periods
• Proficiency with hand, power, and measuring tools
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (0°C to 4°C)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• English verbal and written communication skills
