Maintenance Technician I

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, test, and repair plant machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electronic, and electrical industrial equipment
• Utilize CMMS applications to manage maintenance work orders, repairs, and root cause analysis
• Conduct facility and equipment audits
• Communicate technical information through written and oral documentation and ensure clear shift turnovers
• Support Lean initiatives including 6S, Kanban, Standardized Work, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
• Operate forklifts and company vehicles as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to participate in the Maintenance "On-Call" rotation
• Proficiency with handheld tools and measuring devices
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or similar role
• 2-year degree in industrial technology or 3 years of experience in industrial electrical, welding, or plumbing
• Knowledge of sheet metal equipment such as Laser, Turret, and Press Brake
• Experience with MS Office, including Word and Excel
• Willingness to complete formal maintenance certification training
