Maintenance Technician I

Responsibilities

• Perform various laborer duties including janitorial, cleaning, groundskeeping, painting, and basic building maintenance
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner to provide high quality customer service
• Complete all phases of make ready/turnover work according to the turn timeline
• Execute work tasks safely in accordance with company safety standards
• Maintain community appearance through regular playground cleanup and trash pick-up
• Complete documentation such as work orders and timesheets accurately

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience in multi-family or housing maintenance, construction, or trades
• Ability to perform light duty maintenance in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and masonry
• Ability to identify and operate basic maintenance and landscaping tools
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and basic mold awareness
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for mileage reimbursement
• Availability for mandatory after-hours emergency repairs and on-call rotations
• Ability to work irregular hours including Saturdays and Sundays
