Maintenance Technician I

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and repair on production machines
• Design or modify equipment, jigs, fixtures, and tooling
• Execute preventative maintenance on machines and maintain detailed records
• Assist with the installation of new machines and equipment
• Order parts through internal or external procurement procedures
• Perform welding tasks (approximately 25% of the role)
• Maintain appropriate documentation for all machines and equipment
• Support company culture and quality management systems in accordance with ISO standards

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a related maintenance or technical position
• Ability to read schematics and interpret equipment manuals
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills
• Proficiency with hand tools and various test equipment
• Computer proficiency for documentation and internal procedures
• Welding knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a field related to the position
• Knowledge of AutoCAD
• Ability to work at a fast pace with minimal supervision
• Experience working collaboratively within a team environment
