Maintenance Technician - HVAC

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on industrial HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, exhaust fans, steam, and condensate.
• Execute maintenance tasks across multiple trades such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, utilities, and metal fabrication.
• Plan and execute repairs and equipment updates to maintain peak efficiency using data-driven decision-making.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and regulatory requirements including APHIS, VMD, and OSHA.
• Complete necessary documentation such as work orders, SOPs, and equipment logbooks.
• Respond to emergency call-in repairs as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to safely work in an industrial environment using procedures like Lockout/tagout and PPE.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field such as Electro-Mechanical or HVAC.
• Relevant experience in Pharmaceutical or Food Manufacturing environments.
• Previous experience or training in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing trades.
• Proficiency with HVAC equipment and operating functions.
