Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and replace motors, reducers, sensors, and PLCs to ensure proper operation
• Use blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to aid in the maintenance process
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment to maintain electrical and mechanical systems
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and inspections on assigned equipment
• Execute general facility maintenance and maintain inventory for spare parts
• Adhere to strict safety procedures, including lock out/tag out protocols
• Prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently with minimum supervision
• Provide guidance to other technicians when necessary
• Maintain availability for emergency overtime and various shifts to accommodate production scheduling

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in the production maintenance field
• Certification from a credited institution or trade school (apprenticeship, associate degree, etc.)
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Comfort working at heights
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical certification
• Knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems
• Knowledge of AC/DC theory
