Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct general repairs and maintenance to facility and grounds
• Perform Preventive Maintenance Programs
• Execute general maintenance including painting, building repairs, plumbing, electrical work, and boiler maintenance
• Manage inventory of parts for assigned areas
• Maintain food safety and quality by keeping work areas sanitary
• Report food safety problems to authorized personnel

Requirements

• GED or High School Education
• At least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment
• Background in electrical and PC systems
• Experience in plumbing, refrigeration, and equipment repair
• Knowledge of electrical starters, switches, and three-phase motors
• Ability to provide own hand tools
• Ability to pass pulmonary function and annual respirator fit tests
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand/walk for long periods
