Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance work orders efficiently and on time
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and participate in scheduled on-call coverage
• Perform general facility maintenance including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC repairs
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain building systems and equipment
• Assemble, install, and repair furniture, cabinetry, shelving, and appliances
• Ensure proper functionality of safety and life-safety systems
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors during renovations or facility projects
• Assist with facility improvement projects such as painting, landscaping, and power washing
• Operate a company vehicle for work-related assignments

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of related maintenance experience
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Experience with painting and drywall repair
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 50 pounds or more
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
