About the role

Responsibilities

  • Complete work orders for resident requests and preventive maintenance
  • Conduct inspections to ensure quality and address property needs
  • Prepare vacant apartments for new tenants
  • Manage inventory and order supplies
  • Maintain documentation and assist in grounds upkeep
  • Support cost-cutting efforts and participate in safety protocols
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule requiring weekend, evening, and morning availability

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED and related maintenance experience
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues within buildings and common areas
  • Troubleshoot problems and perform repairs in compliance with safety standards and codes
  • Thoroughness in completing inspections, work orders, and documentation
  • Manage inventory, schedule vendors and contractors, and track materials
  • Adhere to safety protocols, participate in safety meetings, and report incidents
  • Effective communication with management, residents, vendors, and contractors
  • EPA Type I and II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling (or willing to obtain)
  • Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on the property
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to work full-time, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
